SA State Theatre presents Forgiveness

Forgiveness, a play about a woman haunted by a ghost of her child, will be staged at the SA State Theatre from August 22 to September 14.

The ghost of her son keeps recurring in her dreams asking for his remains to be found and buried in his homeland.

The play is adapted and co-written by Keamogetswe Moeketsane with Nokuthula Mashaba.

The play was first staged at The State Theatre during the Youth Expressions Festival in June 2013 and will now show as part of the State Theatre main programme.

Forgiveness is a loose adaptation of the Greek tragedy written by Euripides titled Hecuba.
