TUT Opera promises to leave audiences breathless
Students of the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Performing Arts (Vocal Art) will perform Rossini’s La Cenerentola in the Breytenbach Theatre later this month.
La Cenerentola is an Italian retelling of a rags-to-riches story.
The production promises dazzling tunes, colourful characters and a splendid set and scenery.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles, the six performances are scheduled for August 15 at 7. 30pm, August 16 at 7.30pm, August 17 at 3pm, August 20 at 7.30pm, August 22 at 7.30pm and August 24 at 3pm.
