Juan, Mariel and Friends come to Gauteng
Chilean violinist Juan Munoz and Filipina pianist Mariel Ilusorio will perform piano quintets by Saint-Saens and Dvorak on May 18.
The performance will take place at Northwards House, 21 Rockridge Road, Parktown at 4pm.
The duo lives and work in Grahamstown as performers and teachers.
Mariel has performed in the Philippines, Indonesia, the US, countries in Europe, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Chile.
Juan led the Cape Town Baroque Ensemble and was second violin leader of the CAPAB Orchestra before leading the Odeon String Quartet in the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein.
Tickets can be booked by e-mail at cadewar@gmail.com, or bought at the door from one hour before the start of the concert. There is no card facility at the venue.
