After the long awaited arrival of her race bike, Edenvale’s Toni Jardine headed down to Ashton in the Western Cape for the back-to-back second and third rounds of the Liquorland National Enduro Championship.

This competition took place over the weekend of March 22.

The hot conditions resulted in a course that was fast and rough but it did not slow her down, and she put in an incredible performance over the two days.

Despite a small case of dehydration in her last lap on day one, Toni came out with top results that were true to form.

She finished in seventh place in the silver national championship and was the first woman to cross the line after day one.

Day two saw a route that was a bit more technical and one of the two special tests was reversed. The race kicked off under even hotter conditions with routes that were again rough and hard.

She finished day two in seventh place and was once again the first woman to cross the line.

Toni left for Spain on Monday, March 31, to participate in the first round of the FIM Women’s World Enduro Championship which will take place from April 5.
