Gruelling hockey season

Hoërskool Dinamika dominated from the first whistle, but Edenvale managed to score in the second half, making the score 1-0.

After a gruelling season, the Edenvale High School girls hockey team advanced to the Noordvaal Tournament to be held in August.

For 13 competitive weeks the u-15 girls team had positive results.

Playing through their league, and consecutive derby days, the girls ended on top of their league in their age group.

The team proceeded to the nerve-wrecking quarter-finals where they dominated Hoërskool Delmas, with the final score 3-2.

The u-15 girls faced Hoërskool Dinamika in a nail-biting semi-final on June 8.

Dinamika dominated from the first whistle, but Edenvale managed to score in the second half, making the score 1-0.

In the final play of the game, Dinamika attempted a short corner, and could not get past the Edenvale goalkeeper.

The girls won 1-0 to put them through to the finals on July 13.

This match will determine their placing for the Noordvaal Tournament.
