Bennies start hockey season on a high

Bennies hockey boys had a great fixture beating Christian Brothers College (CBC) across all the age groups.

St Benedict’s College kicked off its hockey and rugby season on March 14.

The rugby teams won five of their eight matches, including a great performance by the second team players who beat Christian Brothers College (CBC) 1st XV by 53-0.

The Bennies hockey team kicked off the season on a winning streak.

The u-14A team won against Helpmekaar 47-27 and against Westville Boys High School 21-10 at the Parktown Festival.

In hockey, the boys had a great fixture beating CBC across all the age groups.

They won all of their eight matches against CBC including a 10-0 win for the second team.
