Bishop Bavin boys shine at SA Rowing Championships
They were led by coach Xavier Mateman.
Bishop Bavin School rowing team participated in the South African Rowing Championships recently.
Out of 65 sculls, Michael Goncalves came ninth and Phume Tshabalala came 14th.
In the u-16 double, Michael and Phume won silver, missing out on the gold by 12th of a millisecond, while in the u-19 double they came in fourth out of 45 boats.
They were led by coach Xavier Mateman.
