Learners leaps to success

They were selected after their performance at the SANESA Gauteng finals held over the weekend of August 4 and 5.

Three learners from Holy Rosary High School were selected to compete in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA) national event.

They will represent the Gauteng school’s team at the competition.

Learners selected are:

• Jade Phillips, dressage for the A team and equitation for the C team.

• Kate Metzer, dressage for the B team.

• Tana Leigh Scott: equitation for the C team.

They were selected after their performance at the SANESA Gauteng finals held over the weekend of August 4 and 5.

At the Gauteng finals Jade placed third and fourth in dressage and eighth in equitation.

Kate place fourth in dressage while Tana Leigh came 12th in equitation.

The event will be held at Kyalami Equestrian Park from October 5 to 7.
