Riders receive recognition

Throughout the year the learners have done well while competing at interschool and provincial SANESA events.

Learners from Holy Rosary high and primary schools received awards at the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA ) annual awards evening.

Awards were presented to primary six learners from the schools.

The primary school team finished sixth in their category. Grace Webber was awarded top rider.

High School learners Jade Phillips and Kate Metzer were announced the winner of Victrix Ludorum for Dressage and finished 10th place for top points on horse rider combination respectively.

Throughout the year the learners have done well while competing at interschool and provincial SANESA events.

Most recently, high school learners Jade Phillips, Kate Metzer and Tana Leigh Scott were selected to represent the Gauteng Schools’ Team at the upcoming SANESA Nationals.

The nationals will be held between October 5 and 7.
