Sacred Heart hosts 11th annual Swim-a-Thon

The aim of the event was to raise funds for technology upgrades in their pre-primary and primary schools.

Sacred Heart College held its 11th annual fund-raising Swim-a-Thon on March 10.

The aim of the event was to raise funds for technology upgrades in their pre-primary and primary schools.

Sacred Heart College Grade Four, Five and Six swimmers at the annual Swim-a-Thon.

“The children participated in the annual event which emphasises the college’s aim to encourage physical education as it is an integral part of building foundations and skills,” said the organiser of the event André van der Merwe.

People supported the event despite the cold weather.

Van der Merwe thanked everyone who participated in the event.
