Stolz broke the 2009 u-15 A 200m record in a time of 25:85 and the 2006 u-15 A 100m record with a time of 12:56.

“We are really proud of Jenna,” said Carole Heming, Jeppe High School for Girls’ public relations officer.

Other great performers of the day were Nompumelelo Makhoba who finished second in the u-15 A hurdles event in a time of 13:92.

Nandi Zulu finished third in the u-15 B 200m race in a time of 28:43 and the u-15B 100m race in a time of 13:65.

The u-15 relay team of Nandi Zulu, Sasha Mncube, Nompumelelo Makhoba and Jenna Stolz finished second in their race with a time of 54:31.

“Athletics is a fairly new sport for Jeppe Girls and a number of our Grade Nine learners ran out of their age group and did a superb job representing the school. Many of our athletes achieved their personal bests during this competition,” said Heming.
