EHS atletics result
Although all the EHS relay teams improved their times the under - 16 boys ran their best seasonal time at the the event
Edenvale High School congratulated its athletics team for their results at a recent athletics meeting on August 10.
The school’s learners won numerous gold medals on the day.
EHS won with 230 points, Trinity Randpark came second with 168, King David Linksfield placed third with 163 and Northcliff B came in fourth with 98 points.
Some of the schools top athletes on the day were:
• Saskia Rabie who ran the u-14 girls 100m in 13.06 seconds.
• Sachin Samlam who ran the u-15 boys 100m in 11.65 seconds and the 200m in 23.28 seconds.
• Dharmesh Sankar who finished the boys u-16 200m in 23.39 seconds and the 400m in 51.19 seconds.
• Tristan Webster who received a time of 11.09 seconds for the u-19 boys 100m and
• Dylan Bennett who completed the u-19 boys 100m in 11.10 seconds.
The u-17 boys 800m and 1 500m teams also won their individual and team events.
Although all the EHS relay teams improved their times the u-16 boys ran their best seasonal time at the event with a time of 46.58 seconds.
