The Edenvale Stingrays excelled at the Gauteng regional championships held on March 11 and 12.
The club came ninth overall out of 43 clubs, bringing with them seven gold medals, eight silver medals and seven bronze medals.
Swimming coach Ms Kate Jones said she was proud of their performance. She added that for nine of the 11 swimmers it was their first club gala.
“Most made level two qualifying times and will definitely be participating in the new season,” said Ms Jones.
