Dowerglen Panthers receive colors

Two members of the group received their Protea Colours when they represented South Africa at the Majorette World Federation

The Dowerglen Panthers Majorettes group has improved their overall standing nationally.

Both the senior and junior teams of the the Dowerglen Panthers Majorettes finished sixth overall at the nationals held in July, in Gauteng.

Last year the two teams finished in 10th place.

On September 11, five members of the club received their Gauteng provincial colours. They were Megan Stafford, Boiketlo Motheelane, Britney Tshema, Abongwe Kheswa and Laetitia Setsubi.

Two members of the group received their Protea colours when they represented South Africa at the Majorette World Federation, which was held in Croatia from September 22 to 25.

The two were Layla Mathews and Gemma Crouwcamp.
