Jeppe Quondam tennis looks to championships in June

The Jeppe Quondam Tennis Section ladies and men’s singles championship winners from last year are Delia Agliotti and Matthew Van Den Berg.

Jeppe Quondam Tennis Club announced tennis players from the club will not be playing until the championships in June.

Ronald Basterfield, the club’s chairperson, said the tennis section is closed during lockdown.

He stated no members will be able to play any tennis whatsoever over this period at the club.

“We normally play league tennis at the beginning of May and this, in line with lockdown, will most probably also be cancelled,” said Basterfield.

He said the next event will be the annual Jeppe Quondam Tennis Championships which will take place in June and July.
