The 2019 Soccer and Volleyball Challenge, hosted by City Takers in conjunction with Pure Fountain Family Church and the South African Masters Volleyball Association, was a day aimed at bringing the community and families of Edenvale and surrounds together on October 19.
The Edenvale Sports Grounds was filled with activities for the entire family to enjoy, including the competitive senior and junior soccer tournament and volleyball tournament, as well foods stalls with delectable items, and live entertainment.
This year saw many organisations partner up for this event.
Cansa, South African National Blood Services (SANBS) and StreetGlow Events all participated in the event.
Flea market stalls were opened up to the community to reveal hidden food and arts-and-crafts gems for all to taste and see.
This was an event that the entire family enjoyed and certainly brought the people of Edenvale and Johannesburg together.
