Girls Friendship Cup

The cup had age groups ranging from u-14 to u-19.

KZN Coastal played against Rand Central in an u-16 match, which went to penalties with Rand Central taking the win.

Female soccer players came together at Bedfordview Country Club on September 28, to play in the Girls Friendship Cup organised by KwaZulu-Natal High Schools Football Association (KZNHSFA).

The cup included age groups ranging from u-14 to u-19.

Participating teams were Rietvlei Soccer School, Bluebirds Football Club, Rand Central Football Club, Zola Ladies, Benoni High School, Dynasty Ladies, KZNHSFA Coastal and Inland.

Zola Ladies beat Rietvlei Soccer School in the u-19 match at 7-1.

The u-14 final saw KZN Coastal take on Rand Central with the win going to KZN at 4-0.

In the u-15 final, KZN Coastal also took the win against Zola Ladies at 3-1.

The u-16 saw Bluebirds beat Rand Central at 2-0, and in the u-19, Zola Ladies took the win from KZN Coastal at 2-0.
