“The goal is to keep it simple. We must get through to the finals and win the series. Our game plan is to defend for the first two to three minutes to first rate the opposition,” said Kledi before the Eagles took on the Gelukspan Mongoose squad.

The home team’s desire to win was evident in their performances and on the score board.

Mpho Mohono also kept the opposition at bay with claiming possession.

“I’m happy with the win. I’m not happy with the score because I know we can do better,” said Kledi.

“The score is not the true reflection of the Eagles. I hope we improve in our next game,” said Nkoana.
