JVW in fifth place in the Sasol Women’s League

Janine van Wyk and Mamello Makhabane were missing from the team as they are participating in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Janine Van Wyk Football Club came out on top over Blue Birds Ladies Football Club at an open seniors match at Bedfordview Country Club.

The match was for the Sasol Women’s League, where JVW are in fifth place with only three matches left.

JVW is in fifth place overall in the Sasol’s Women’s League.

Janine van Wyk and Mamello Makhabane were missing from the team as they are participating in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Unathi Mabena, Indira Albuquerque and Amanda Dlamini were also not present in the team, due to footballing obligations.

Some players were missing from the team due to playing in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Goal scorers for the match were Nompumelelo Nyandei with four goals, Isabella Ludwig with two and Robyn Moodaly with one.
