Modderfontein Bowls Club hosts league games

Some games were played at the club’s greens while others were played away.

Modderfontein Bowling Club recently hosted division games on January 26, which saw its men’s and women’s teams go up against clubs from the surrounding area.

Saturday’s results are as follows:

• Men’s Division 4 played against Benoni Country Club and won 29-19, securing four points.

• Ladies Division 2B played against Springs Town and won 37-21, securing five points out of the possible six.

Other results from away games are:

• Men’s Premier Division A played Northmead, but lost 24-39 for zero points.

• Men’s Premier Division B played Delville Germiston and won 48-22 for a maximum six points.

• Men’s Division 2B played Springs Town and lost 28-29 for a total of two points.
