Tower Novice Tournament held at Italian Club

Italian Club Johannesburg (ICJ) Bowls Club hosted a Tower Novice Tournament on January 19 at the Italian Club.

Convener for 16 years, Gustav Aspeling, said that the Tower Novice Tournament has been running for 42 years.

Players played on Green A and B in a first and second session.

He said that it is open to all districts and runs at two venues, the other being at Wanderers.

Aspeling said that 102 men and 64 women compete in the tournament.
