Edenvale High School learners Dylan Anderson, Jose Gomez and Cade Davids were recently selected as part of the Golden Lions u-16 and u-14 squads.
Dylan and Jose were selected as part of the u-16 squad while Cade was chosen as part of the u-14 team.
The u-14 Golden Lions team recorded losses in games against the Valke 14 – 27, the Sharks 22 – 24 and the Bulls 7 – 52. The team recorded a win against the KZN Duikers 56 – 7.
Overall the u-14 teams placed third when they again played against the Valke. This time they recorded a win with 29 – 7.
The u-16 Golden Lions team recorded wins in games against the Sharks 14 – 0 and the KZN Duikers 55 – 0. The young team also drew against the Bulls 10 – 10 and lost to the Valke 13 – 15.
Overall the team placed third and secured a win against the Sharks 25 – 8.
