Six learners from schools in the area recently tested their skills when the Eastern Gauteng hockey team played against a team from Zambia.

The learners Tyler Ruckard, Michael Beeton, Connor Anderson, Joseph Reid, Chad Hayman and Byron Comley played on August 7.
They are from Hurlyvale Primary School, Reddam House Bedfordview, St Benedict’s College and Dunvegan Primary School.
The Eastern Gauteng team won the friendly match 2-1.
It was held at Beaulieu College.
