Level three swimmers compete at gala

Four Edenvale swimmers from Aquatic Academy took part in the level three regional championships.

The three-day event was held at Hillcrest Pool in Pretoria.

At the swimming champs, Kieryn Letley qualified for eight finals winning a gold medal with a personal best time of 30.67 for the 50m butterfly.

In addition to her personal best Letley won two bronze and two silver medals.

Tambai Dutiro won a silver medal in the 100m backstroke and swam in two final events.

Clayton Malaza qualified for three final events and achieved seven personal bests.

Mikayla Pon (10), the youngest of the Edenvale swimmers, swam three personal bests at the event.
