The club was founded in 2016 with the aim of bettering the lives of the boys in and around Kensington areas.

The founder and coach, Aubrey Motshwane, said he realised that a lot of talented youngsters enjoy playing soccer but due to a lack of resources they end up walking around aimlessly at Rhodes Park.

“I then gathered the children together and started training them every week on an open space on Ocean Street. As time went by, I formed the club and named it after the street where we used to practise,” he said.

Motshwane said the club has been performing well since it was founded.

“A lot of the youngsters have potential. The club has been performing well over the past two seasons. We came second during the annual Joburg East Football Association (JEFA) Top Eight Tournament. We also came second in the 2017 mix season,” he said.

“We would appreciate any soccer kit donations,” he said.
