Balls fly at baseball tournament

The Pat McKinon tournament took place from February 17 to 18.

With their baseball bats, gloves and caps in hand, boys and girls from as young as eight-years-old gathered at the Edenvale Sports Ground for the Pat McKinon Baseball Tournament.

The tournament took place from February 17 to 18.

The Imps Baseball Club’s u-12 team from Edenvale played against the Palm Ridge Development Club.

Imps coach Colin Barret said he was hoping for a win but didn’t mind if the team lost as long as they had fun.

Barret also coaches the South African team.
