Bedfordview hosts launch of fitness boot camp

"The bootcamp is a great way for the community to get out and stay healthy."

With the launch of a Crossfit boot camp in Bedfordview, residents can look forward to an alternative way of keeping fit.

Crossfit trainer Jacques Magill lifts a tire as the January 28 boot camp comes to an end.

Organised by Pietro Cignoli, Fighting Fit Africa’s Crossfit Boot Camp was launched at the Goldfields Show Grounds on January 21.

“The boot camp is a great way for the community to get out and stay healthy,” said Cignoli.

The second boot camp was held on January 28.

Community members from Bedfordview and Kensington used weights, ropes and tires to train.

“We are a family here. Anyone can join us,” said Cignoli.

“I want to help the community to feel empowered.”
