Home disappointment for Edenvale FC

According to their manager coach, the team had a home ground advantage but missed more than 10 chances to score

In an unfortunate turn of events, Edenvale Football Club’s first team lost 1-0 to Elsburg in a Premier League match played on Saturday at the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

According to their manager coach, the team had a home ground advantage but missed more than 10 chances to score.

“Edenvale had more chances, but they didn’t capitalise. It was a nice learning curve for the team and they were just a little bit unlucky,” said Louis Antonopoulos.

Antonopoulos said the sides were evenly matched as Edenvale had previously beaten Elsburg 1-0 in a match played on their home ground.

The team will play another league match in Alberton on Saturday.
