Bedfordview bowlers claim victory

The winners are Jill Van Rensburg, Tracy-Lee Botha, Jax Janse Van Rensburg and Lauren Strachen. Seen with them is GC Swanepoel, from Perfect Delivery, the tournament sponsor.

Bedfordview Country Club took the title as winners of the Johannesburg Bowls Association Ladies District Fours 2017 tournament.

The win was made possible through team effort and good leadership by Jax Janse Van Rensburg.

Janse Van Rensburg’s team consisted of Protea Tracy-Lee Botha, Lauren Strachen and Jill Van Rensburg.

The four had a tough semi-final game against Tracy Meyeridicks and her team from the Lombardy East Bowling Club, but the match ended with a score of 25-23.

In the final, Janse van Rensburg and her team were up against former Protea Pam Landau and her team from Roosevelt Park.
