Gillooly’s Parkrun results

From the total number of participants 127 were first time runners.

On August 6, the weekly Gillooly’s Parkrun at Gillooly’s Farm had 673 runners from 23 various running clubs taking part.

From the total number of participants, 127 were first time runners and 167 of the runners recorded new personal best times.

The current leader of the men’s annual points competition is Bradley OAkley-Brown with 1034 points, while the current woman with the highest points in the women’s annual points competition is Heidi Williams-Sutton with 1 568 points.

The Gillooly’s Parkrun takes place every Saturday at Gillooly’s Farm. It is a free event that allows participants to take part in a 5km run once they have registered for the parkrun.

This week there were 637 runners, of whom 127 were first timers and 167 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 23 different athletics clubs took part.

Gilloolys parkrun started on 23rd April 2016, and since then 3,581 different runners, including participants from 86 athletics clubs, have completed 10,399 runs covering a total distance of 51,995 km, and there have been 2,959 new Personal Bests.
