Gillooly’s Parkrun

A total distance of 27 565 kilometers has been covered by participants.

Daniel Parsons, a student who lives in Bedfordview, is seen giving it his all to stay in first place ahead of Sean Dowds, from Kensington, at the Gillooly's Parkrun. According to Daniel, his time was "just over 19 minutes". It was Daniel's first Parkrun at Gillooly's Farm.

The Gillooly’s Parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at Gillooly’s Farm and is a free, five kilometer timed run.

On June 18, 756 runners, of which 168 were first time runners, took part in the event.

Gillooly’s Parkrun officially started in April this year and has since attracted 2 558 different runners, including participants from 71 athletics clubs.

A total distance of 27 565 kilometers has been covered by participants.

At the June 18 event, 268 runners recorded new personal best times and representatives of 36 different athletics clubs took part.
