Tennis players hit it off

By taking part in this tournament, the brothers hope to improve their world rankings.

The Jeppe Quondam Sports Club was host to members of the Stoltenkamp Tennis Performance Centre on April 30.

The members practice regularly at the tennis courts.

The club saw four young tennis players training on the courts, giving it their all and trying to improve their skills.

The four players were Zani and Lee Barnard along with Charl and Hugh Morgan.

The Morgan brothers, from Johannesburg, were training for an U/18 World Ranking tournament to be held in Windhoek, Namibia.

Niko Petcu, a coach who helps the players with their physical fitness, said there were only champions practising there that day.

The two brothers will be in Namibia for the next two weeks.

They left for the event on Sunday.

Also at the tennis practice was former tennis player Hilton Nyakabau, who was helping the youngsters to hone their skills.

Charl said he is excited for the upcoming tournament.

By taking part in this tournament, the brothers hope to improve their world rankings.
