The St Andrew’s Dragons swimming club congratulated two of its swimmers, Craig Groenewald and Adri Visser, for qualifying for this year’s Paralympic Games.
The tournament will be held in the Brazil capital of Rio de Janeiro.
From April 10 to 16, the club participated in the SA National Aquatic Championships in Port Elizabeth.
They brought home 10 gold medals, nine silver medals and three bronze medals.
“We as a club are extremely proud of our swimmers who competed at the tournament. Our swimmers excelled as they achieved medals at the highest level South Africa has to offer in swimming,” said Ms Lisa Trollope.
