Edenvale motorcycle racer places third in Welkom
Eric finished third overall for the race meeting and is looking forward to the next race meeting at Zwartkops next month.
Edenvale resident Eric Cook took part in a race at Phakisa in Welkom on Saturday, April 23.
Eric qualified third in the Sub 10 A class and managed to win the first race.
The second race was less successful. While completing a warm-up lap to line up on the grid, a stone flew up and went through the oil filter, causing a massive oil leak. This put Eric out of the second race.
Even though the stone affected his second race, Eric finished third overall for the race meeting and is looking forward to the next race meeting at Zwartkops next month.
