Edenvale’s Toni ready for 2015

This has seen Toni in top condition and ready in time to start the new season.

Edenvale resident Toni Jardine, saw the 2014 season come to a grinding halt while racing in Argentina in November, representing South Africa at the International Six Days Event (ISDE), when she tore a ligament on day one.

With the help of a team of doctors, a physio and biokinetic therapists, Toni went on to surprise her medical team by making a full recovery in just three months.

This took sheer determination on her part as she completed her exercise and rehabilitation programme right through the off season.

This has seen Toni in top condition and ready in time to start the new season.

With a jam-packed 2015 season ahead of her, Toni will be taking part in the National Off Road Series, The National Motorcross Series as well as The National Enduro Series.

She aims to improve on her speed and skills and become the best all-round female rider in the country.

In order to achieve her goals, Toni has made the decision to move out of the support and ladies classes in both the Enduro and Off Road events and has moved into the fully-fledged championship classes in these two disciplines, where she will be racing with the men.

“I will be representing South Africa at the ISDE again this year and would like to be at the top of my game and bring home a good result. I can only get better if I pitch myself against the best,” said Toni.

The National Enduro Season recently kicked off with round 1 and 2 of the Liquorland National Enduro Series; a double-header which took the riders down to Creighton in Kwazulu Natal.
