LMS charity day coming soon

The day will feature music, jumping castles for children and food stalls.

Bedfordview Last Man Stands (LMS) will host a charity cricket day on December 16 at Dawnview High School.

Edenvale charity organisations, Impact House and Tiles4Change, will benefit from the day.

The 10-over a side tournament is open to all LMS and non-LMS teams.

The day will feature music, jumping castles for children and food stalls.

Entry is R1 500 per team of eight and includes a boerewors roll and cold drink for each player.

The team with the highest net run rate for the day will be crowned the winner and will walk away with a prize of R5 000.

Should two teams be tied for the win, a 6’s hit-off will take place.

Second place prize is R1 500.

There will also be prizes for the player who scores the most sixes in the tournament.
