Anti-e-toll banner protests on hold

Up until Tuesday morning, six banners had been confiscated by various metropolitan police department units.

The widely popular anti-e-toll banner protests have been placed on hold.

This comes after participants were warned to not distract motorists during a protest on Linksfield Road bridge on Tuesday morning.

According to Mrs Cynthia Ahrensmeier, officers from the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) warned protesters that if they do not stop distracting motorists they could face arrest.

Up until Tuesday morning, six banners had been confiscated by various metropolitan police department units.
