Students win 39 medals
The championships took place at the Standard Bank Arena and more than 3 500 entries were registered.
Students of Sensei Les Stevens, from both the Bedfordview and Kensington Dojos, competed in the SA JKA National Championships that took place recently.

Sensei Stevens’ students took home 39 medals.
“To be selected for these championships, or be a medal winner here, takes more than just a bit of luck. These students came home with no less than 39 medals,” said Ms Zarita Dias.
All participants in the competition had to compete according to belt level, age and gender. @BedfordJourno
