Edenvale Giants triumph over Panorama

Edenvale Giants walked away as winners with a score of 22-13 in the reserve league match against Panorama played at the Edenvale Sports Grounds on Sunday, July 20.

The visitors ran out first, doing their best to put points on the board.

Manager and player for the Edenvale Giants, Mr Darren Tromp, said he was pleased with the way the team played.

“It was a great game to watch and play. It was very competitive and every player did their best,” said Mr Tromp.

When the home team took to the field, there were some notable hits of the ball.

The highlight of the match was the partnership between the Giants catcher, Geraldine Grobbler and Conrad Grobbler, who produced 11 outs on the day.

The duo is husband and wife. At the end of the game, the home team secured a win and have some momentum going forward. “It was a great game, we hope more people can take up the game and join us. It can be seen as a good family outing,” said Mr Tromp.
