All current and past tennis players below 50 are welcome to join the Jeppe Quondam sports club in Bedfordview on a Saturday afternoon to play social tennis.
Games take place from 1.30pm until late afternoon, followed afterwards by a drink or two on the veranda.
Players usually arrive between 1.30pm and 2:30pm.
Those who are interested are asked to bring their own racquet.
The club offers social and competitive tennis.
“We offer league tennis as well as our annual tennis club championships. We play tennis right through the year and we play for the enjoyment of the game,” said Jeppe Quondam’s tennis section chairperson, Bill Basterfield.
“We aim to build friendships that go beyond the clubs borders. We also have tennis coaches who can assist anyone wanting to improve their tennis skills,” he added.
