Toxic Bunnies triumph

The Last Man Stands (LMS) tournament saw the Toxic Bunnies defeat the Jeti Knights by 35 runs at the Jeppe Quondam Club on November 23.

The Toxic Bunnies secured 149 runs for the loss of five wickets after 20 overs.

The Jeti Knights managed to only score 114 runs for the loss of eight wickets after 20 overs.

The Toxic Bunnies lead the way by batting first. The top scorers for the team were Russell Campbell, who made 40 runs from 31 balls, and Craig Stanway, who made 21 runs from 18 balls.

Campbell managed a strike rate of 129.03 before he was dismissed LBW, while Stanway was dismissed after being caught.

The Jeti Knights had a good start, with Clayton de Lange making 48 runs from 34 balls, before being dismissed through a stumping. Clayton de Lange secured a strike rate of 141.18 over 4 overs. This was not, however, enough as the Jeti Knights only managed to reach 114 before being all out.

The Toxic Bunnies move to third on the Bedfordview league 3 standings, after seven games, four wins, three losses and 30 points.

The other Bedfordview league 3 results saw the DP Boys lose to the Cricket Tanks by 26 runs, and the Rubber Duckz beat the Cricket Wicket Wanabe’s by two runs.
