Bedfordview resident Stephanie Jones headed to Malta on August 31 for the World Power Lifting Competition.
She will represent South Africa on September 4 in her sub-junior category 58kg in the bench press, deadlift and squat.

Jones was part of the St Andrew’s School for Girls class 2022.
She came second in the 58kg sub-junior category at the nationals held in Potchefstroom on April 5.
