Local cricket club continues to collect points in the league

In another match, CBCOB Boksburg stunned Bedfordview Cricket Club with a win of 30 runs in the Eastern T20 Cup game semi-final at Willowmoore Cricket Field on November 18.

CBC Old Boys Boksburg Cricket Club (CBCOB) beat Thembisa Cricket Club with eight wickets in the 50 League on November 19.

Thembisa were 89 all out in 19.5 overs.

Bowlers of CBC Boksburg WP Myburgh and Zander Lubbe bowled well for the home team, CBCOB Boksburg.

Myburg got 3/7 in 2.5 overs with Lubbe, obtaining 2/12 in 5 overs. Mark Pearse, who batted for CBCOB, also pulled out stunning hits collecting points for the home side.

CBCOB Boksburg won the match by eight wickets.

Bedfordview were 91 all out in 18.3 overs. The best bowler of CBC, Robert Mutch, obtained 3/1 in 3 overs during the match.

CBCOB Boksburg won the match by 30 runs.

In the final on the same day at Willowmoore Cricket Field, the CBCOB was defeated by Kempton Cricket Club by eight wickets.

CBCOB Boksburg got 137/8 in 14 overs. The top scorers of the match were Mark Pearse and Michael Weldon of CBCOB.

Juan Steyn, the bowler of CBC, scooped 1/28 in 2 overs.

Kempton needed to get 144 to win in 14 overs with the Duckworth-Lewis method. It managed to obtain 148/2 in 12.4 overs.
Kempton Park won the match by eight wickets.
