Local race driver gets first position on racetrack
Renzo has been performing well since he started racing in February
Lambton resident and Jeppe Boy learner Renzo Ribeiro (16) keeps securing first place positions in race track events.

He took another win at Zwartkops raceway in Pretoria on April 15 at the historic Festival of Speed.
In race one Renzo had a convincing win with three seconds between him and the second place finisher.
In race two Renzo broke his exhaust, losing his position, but soon regained it and was in the lead again.
On the final lap, he took first place. Renzo has been performing well since he started racing in February.

He only started racing the Formula Libra Series this year, driving his 1992 Formula GTI Swift, and has not looked back since.
“I’m on top of the world. I’m happy with my performance so far,” said Renzo.
He hopes to enter the national championship with Formula Ford.
His next race is on June 10 at Redstar Raceway in Delmas.
