Dragons compete in Short Course Championship

“Dragons has attended Seagulls since 2004 when the club started and it saddened us that during Covid-19 we could not attend this amazing event."

Dragons Swimming Club competed in the annual Seagulls Short Course Championships where the club won six medals and achieved 46 personal bests.

Hosted at Kings Park in KwaZulu-Natal from October 6 to 9 the club’s eight swimmers competed in more than 70 events.

“Dragons has attended Seagulls since 2004 when the club started and it saddened us that during Covid-19 we could not attend this amazing event,” said head coach Theo Verster.

“This year we went back as a team where we built new friendships and became more of a family while our swimmers swam incredible times.

“We love this event in Durban and look forward to returning next year with an even bigger group of swimmers,” he said.
