Tatijana aims for IDO World Championships

IDO will host a street show category in Italy.

A passionate and award-winning performer from Assumption Convent Tatijana Ignjatov is still at it with her passion for dance.
The Lambton resident is still working hard hoping that the International Dance Organisation’s (IDO) World Championships will happen at the end of the year.
If all goes to plan, IDO will host a street show category in Italy, a show dance category in Germany and a modern jazz category in Poland.
Tatijana recently competed in a series of provincial qualifiers held by the South African Body of Dance (SABOD) where she placed number one overall in modern solo, jazz solo, show dance solo, street show solo and duet, jazz and modern small groups.
Following her success at the provincial qualifiers, Tatijana will compete in the nationals to be held at the State Theatre in Pretoria on October 2 and 3.
Tatijana thanked her studio, Eunice Marais School of Dance ( EMSD) and her ballet trainer, Michael Revie, for their hard work and guidance.
She also thanked Assumption Convent for always supporting her throughout her dance career.
