Editor – Today I have never felt more proud to be South African.
We all know what a difficult time it has been not only for us here but for others around the globe.
We all have had to take a step back from our normal daily lives and many have been impacted in such devastating ways.
Unfortunately and very sadly you get those few selfish individuals who try to take advantage of others at a time like this!
You even get those who only seem to feel the need to spread negative news.
This is very heart-breaking on top of an already sad situation.
However my reason for typing this is not to focus on the negative but rather to point out how the majority of South Africans have come together at a time like this and shown such compassion and generosity.
My hope is that we can all try and be a bit more positive.
Yes, times are tough but it certainly doesn’t help when those few individuals go on about only the negative.
Look at all the good that is being done!
Change your perspective and just maybe you will start to feel motivated and inspired by the humanity of so many people around us.
