EDITOR – Today I ventured to the Post Office in Bedford Centre where my box has been for the last 30 years.
Not only have they moved to a different part of the centre, but no post has been delivered for the last two months.
When I complained to the young lady behind the counter, she mumbled something like “strike”.
I asked how long have they been on strike.

“Two weeks,” she replied.
I asked why is it that I have not received any mail for the last two months.
“I don’t know,” she said.
I asked her if she could find out what the matter is, but she could not.
I wonder why I paid my fee in January this year.

An actual waste of money and nobody in that office cares a hoot.
They are just on strike from doing nothing, so hopefully they close down the whole circus very soon.
