EDITOR – I confirm that both myself and my daughter have received traffic fines produced by the camera in Terrace road.
The one picture is completely blank and I very much doubt that both of us were exceeding the speed limit of 60km per hour.
One is recorded at 74km per hour and the other at 75km per hour.
Both of us have noticed the camera flashing when we have stopped at the traffic light. It is obviously faulty.
I called on the public prosecutor this morning [August 31] to discuss the matter but was informed that he could only reduce the amount and not cancel them.
I am obviously not keen to pay an admission of guilt fine and will have to attend court if the matter has not been resolved.
