EDITOR – Through the medium of your publications I want to express my appreciation for the speedy response to attend to a leak around a manhole cover on the sewer line in Harry Street, Dunvegan.
Before 11am on July 6 I reported the leak to the water and sanitation department.
I received a reference number and was expecting up to 48 hours to have it attended to.
However, to our joy, a team with a machine arrived around 12.30pm and very competently cleared the blockage, a very unpleasant job and they were gone by 1pm.
My thanks and congratulations to the department and staff.
